DIFFUL SOLAR PUMP - Understand the use of photovoltaic water pumps
PV water pumps are generally used in remote areas, so their reliability needs to be guaranteed. In the process of installing and using photovoltaic pumps, we need to pay special attention to the following:
1.Prevent dry rotation
During commissioning, the dry-running time of the PV pump cannot exceed 90S. If it exceeds 90S, the pump motor may cause insulation damage due to excessive dry running temperature. During daily use, the water level of the water source must not be lower than the water inlet of the photovoltaic pump, and it is generally required to be 30-50cm higher than the water inlet of the pump. In order to prevent the water level from being lower than the water inlet of the pump, a water level detection switch can be installed within a range of 30-50cm above the water inlet of the pump to detect the water level signal and transmit the signal to the solar controller in real-time. When the photovoltaic water pump is running, when the water level is too low, the solar controller can cut off the power in time to protect the motor and prevent the motor from running dry in the absence of water.
2. Water pipe Prevent frost cracking
For use in areas where the outside temperature is too low, the water pipe needs to be buried to about 10 cm below the freezing line. It is strictly prohibited to expose the pipe to the air to prevent the water pipe from being cracked. When the photovoltaic water pump finishes running, drain the water in the pipeline as soon as possible.
3. Cable waterproof
The cable that comes with the PV pump motor is generally very short (easy to transport), so the cable connection is needed when installing the PV pump. For water pumps, the cable joint is likely to be in water, so waterproof plastic sealing is very important. We generally use professional cable joints and plastic-encapsulated tubes as tools for cable connection.
4. sand control
Solid sand grains or stones can cause serious damage to photovoltaic pumps, which can greatly reduce the service life of pumps. It is necessary to prevent inhalation of sand particles. Install a sand filter at the pump inlet. Especially for water sources with a lot of sand, filters must be installed.
